General Services
BOARDING | We have a very clean, comfortable place for your pet to stay while you are away. Our staff is very understanding and compassionate with regard to your pets needs while boarding. They are fed once daily. We also offer playtime, which is 15 minutes additional personal time outside. We try to accomodate requests, such as special food, blankets, favorite toys, etc. Pets who are taking medication will be treated according to directions on prescriptions unless otherwise specified. All boarding pets will be admitted and discharged during regular business hours. Reservations for holiday times are necessary to ensure that your pet will have a place reserved. Our boarding facilities are always full at these peak times. For the protection of your pet and others, your pet must be current on all vaccinations. |
DAY CARE | Is your pet unhappy or lonely while you're at work? Give your companion the personal attention he or she deserves throughout the day. We offer the same TLC and playtime offered to our longer-term guests. |
DENTAL CARE | Regular professional cleaning is important to maintaining your pet's teeth. We use modern and safe ultrasound to clean each tooth thoroughly - above and below the gum line, then polish teeth to create a smooth, lustrous tooth surface more resistant to plaque buildup. Fluoride treatments help strengthen enamel and reduce tooth sensitivity. |
GROOMING | Our groomers have thirty combined years experience grooming all breeds of dogs and cats. They groom by appointment only, so please call a week in advance and we can schedule the groom to best fit your time. We can also coordinate grooming with boarding so that your pets can be groomed before they go home. For the protection of your pet and others, your pet must be current on all vaccinations. |
MICROCHIPPING | Microchips have helped reunite thousands of pets with their families. We offer the most widely used microchip products to increase the chances of a safe recovery. |
NUTRITIONAL COUNSELING | Some pets require special food, and all pets benefit from a balanced diet. Our trained and certified staff is available to help you choose the right diet for your pet to keep him or her happy, healthy and active. |
RADIOLOGY | Radiology – or X-rays – help our veterinarians evaluate muscular-skeletal, cardiovascular(cardiopulmonary), gastrointestinal, reproductive and urinary systems. |
PAIN MANAGEMENT | Veterinary patients feel pain and discomfort under the same circumstances as people do. We know that recognizing and alleviating pain in animals is the essence of good patient care. |
MEDICAL PROCEDURES | We are a state of the art hospital with an in house x-ray unit, diagnostic blood unit, inhalation anesthesia unit, pulse oximeter, electrocardiogram, surgical suite, dental unit, steam sterilization and a complete pharmacy. All routine procedures are done here. If your pet needs more specialized procedures we will refer you to Animal Surgical Specialists. Most diagnostic procedures are done in house, but if your pet needs more specialized diagnostics, such as ultrasound or endoscopy we will refer you to an Internal Medicine specialist. We work closely with both specialists to achieve the best result possible for your pet. |
